This year I became really motivated (and a little adventurous) when it comes to photoshoots! Fortunately, my friend and photographer Tanja is quite fond of me and despite the fact that she regularly takes photos of models from agencies, she always finds time to meet me.
This time I had an exact image of what the photos should look like (which is very untypical of me). But that´s because I actually got inspired while looking for ideas for photoshoots on Pinterest and I found a lot of pictures from bathtub photoshoots. I fell in love immediately!!
Tanja liked the idea, too and luckily her bathroom was the perfect location, so we bought bath bombs and flowers and had a great, funny photoshoot:
We started with red bath bombs (only one or two, we didn´t want the water to look like blood…) and later we put blue ones in. The two colors mixing looks so magical and beautiful to me!
I look really relaxed in these pictures but actually it was soo exhausting! We were afraid the steam from the hot water could be a problem for the camera lens, that the photos could turn out foggy, so the water in the bathtub was cold!
At the end I was so cold that Tanja told me to take a hot shower. Then we found out that the heat and the steam don´t matter at all and I went through all the trouble for nothing…
I just love photoshoots that have to do with water and even though the water was cold this time I still had a lot of fun!
Hope you like the photos!
I mainly blogged about my travel to Thailand the last weeks and I thought it´s time for something else (and something in English again)!
After my volunteer work (and curing my jetlag ;D) I phoned my photographer and asked for a photoshoot. Luckily she had a lot of time for me and we managed to meet for two photoshoots. Tanja (my photographer) moved to Cologne recently and it was great fun to go there (i´ve only been there once)!
First, we made photos in a car park. I already did that once and it´s just great for street style photos!
That photo has it´s own little story: since I first saw Rihannas music video to we found love, I always wanted to sit in a cart (shopping trolley) (I know, what a weired wish!). Then I saw one (belonging to nobody) in the car park and I was totally amazed and jumped in! Tanja loved how that looked so I now have a photo of me fulfilling my teenage dream!
The car park has such a great modern atmosphere to it with all the white walls!
Later, we changed the location because I really liked my last photoshoot in a lake and I wanted to do something with water again. So I went swimming in the Rhine!
The water was sooo cold but nevertheless it was worth the effort! I just love the more adventurous photoshootings!
My favorit photo:
Hope, you like it!
On Saturday I had another photoshoot with Tanja!
The weather was great and we decided do something spring like with a light dress and flowers (our location was the Rombergpark in Dortmund, Germany).
There´s also a big pond in the park and that reminded me that I always wanted to do a photoshoot at the bank of a lake. We didn´t plan a water-photoshoot on that day (we had no clothes to change, no towles and I wore a dress from Tanja that I really didn´t want to get dirty), but Tanja just said: „To hell with the dress, the photos will look awesome!“
And so I lay down on sharp stones with a white dress, drenched with water, right into the mud, shaking like crazy because it´s cold – by far my most exhausting photoshoot but also my favorit!
I love the photos and I really want to do another lake-photoshoot!
I had a really spontaneous photoshoot with Tanja again. She called me on sunday evening and asked if I had time for a photoshoot on monday and luckily this was the case.
Winter is really not the perfect time for a photoshoot… it was cold and it gets dark quite early outside. This time we also didn´t plan much and our location were just the streets around Tanjas house. Even so, I really like how the photos turned out!
I hope you like them, too!
